2011 CONNIE MACK WORLD SERIES

The HOOTS Baseball Club from Danville has advanced to the Connie Mack World Series in Farmington, New Mexico.  The HOOTS won the Connie Mack West Regional Tournament held at Tempe Diablo Stadium in Arizona going 5-0 to earn their second trip to the World Series in the past 3 years.  The 2009 team became the first team from Northern California to get to Farmington in over 20 years.

The final game was won by the HOOTS 2-0 in a very competitive game versus the Southern California Renegades.  The HOOTS were the North California State Champion and earned the berth in the West Regional as the lone team from Northern California.

The HOOTS will travel to Farminton on Thursday, August 4 and will begin play on Saturday against the defending World Series Champion Midland Redskins.  The HOOTS met with Midland in the opening game of the series in 2009.
